Virtual Event
Tuesday, December 8th
12pm - 1pm
The last few months have been like nothing we have ever experienced. Our lives were turned upside down and have yet to truly settle. We have days that are better than others, but some days it feels like this storm will never end.
It is just as difficult, if not more so, for homeless veterans. Our heroes are sleeping out on the streets; under bridges, in abandoned cars, or even in empty garages. Many are left wandering the streets looking for help and don’t know where to go. They are hungry and have no idea where they will find their next meal.
Poor seniors are missing their friends and family. Community looks and feels so
different these days. Stuck inside, it is risky to even go grocery shopping at the
local market. They are lonely and are beginning to lose hope.
Parents have lost their jobs, and were already struggling to put food on the table for their children. Christmas is a distant thought, with no idea how they will be able to get their children any gifts.
At Holidays of Hope, you have the chance to show Michigan’s most vulnerable they are not alone in this storm.
Without you, this storm could last forever.
